I had a client stop in with concerns with her trees. Client claims that the lower part of the tree has been losing it’s leaves for the past two years. Could this be from the abnormal spring weather we have had? Freezing the new buds? Located in Adams County.

Plant/Weed ID

Weed ID

This plant was found in a commercial green bean field near Mischicot. It’s about 1 foot tall and the farmer said it kinda smells like lavender. Anyone know what it is? Thanks!

Woody edge plant ID

Please help identify the plants growing at the edge of a woody area, near a housing subdivision.  Clients recently built the house and have these plants growing along the edge of the woody overstory.  Buckthorn is growing nearby above these plants.

I have a client with a non-bearing pear tree that is loosing all its leaves. They think it may be a fire blight issue and have sent some pictures to the office. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Maple Tree/Woodpecker

A client has a maple tree that she believes is being attacked by woodpeckers and would like to know how to best protect the tree. I personally didn’t see any woodpecker damage but I told her I would get a second opinion. The tree does have a quite a few frost cracks.
